Cut cost—
If you love books—Instead of making another trip to the Barnes & Nobel,
visit your public library, where you can often find the latest books and movie
titles and still manage to save (if you are careful of late fees) your hard
earned dollars.
For the kids—Have your kids trade-in or sell their used video game systems. You might try sites like Ebay to find a buyer for the old system and all the games that go with it. Some stores will buy your old video games, CDs and DVDs.
Save at the grocers—plan meals and make detailed list of all the
ingredients you’ll need. Add weekly staples and anything else you need that
week. Sometimes seeing the length of your list of necessities will deter you
from throwing extra things in the cart.
Above all... control your spending – Be adamant about not living beyond
your means. Remember....Even on the most modest salary, if you are
watchful about your expenditures, you can make good financial progress.

Become entrepreneurial– "I always encourage
people to become entrepreneurial and think
about ways in which they can boost their
income. Are you a good cook, have excellent
organizational skills or are simply great a math?
Starting a cake making business, becoming a
closet or office organizer or a math tutor are
great ways to make extra income and make
a difference in your community".
