| LINGK: Could you give us a brief overview of your company? PAUL: The name of our company is EcoMedia. We help local governments; cities, counties, and states around the country improve the environment. Our company is divided into two-halves. The first half is an environmental company called EcoZone, a program in cities, counties, and states, that provides three critical resources to local governments at no cost to the taxpayer. First we provide community outreach and education, through television, radio, prints, outdoor, Internet and roadshows. Our objective is to inspire citizens to make lifestyle changes so that they can become part of the solution of improving the environment. Secondly, we provide funding for technologies and projects that measurably solve environmental problems. We help fund solar panels on tops of city halls, public buildings, green roofs and greening projects. Also filters for storm drains to help keep pollutants from entering rivers, lakes, and streams. Third, and perhaps most importantly, we advise cities, counties, and states on the most useful places to spend the money that we provide through an advisement board that is made up of NOAA, the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration and Environmental groups like The International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) which focuses on sustainability within cities by helping to cope with climate changes, the Waterkeeper Alliance, Bobby Kennedy Jr's., group, as well as, corporate sponsors, and muncipalities that are involved with our programs. On the other side of our business, we're a media company. We help develop advertising, marketing and branding packages for corporations. We help them accomplish their marketing and advertising objectives while improving the environment, by helping them re-think the use of their advertising dollars. Continues on page 2 |
