For most of us, the very idea of change can conjure-up feelings of
expectation and excitement, anxiety or apprehension, depending on our
comfort level with the subject matter, familiarity with the issue at hand, past
experiences and a host of other variables. Nevertheless besides God (who
promises to never leave or forsake us) death and taxes – change, is the
only other constants in life, designed to help us grow and become our very
personal best. So whether contemplating a career change, a new fitness
regimen or starting a new business venture, it is our hope that through our
featured stories and related articles you maybe encourage to take faith!
Grab hold of your dream, move forward, and embrace life's great adventure.

As a nation we are also embarking on some major changes. And in
what's shaping up to be an election year of historic proportions, with the
real possibility of the first ever female, or African American president within
our sights, coupled with the unprecedented number of newly registered
voters who have now become part of our democratic process, we decided
to take a look into a key constituency of voters shaping the very narrative
of this years elections - in a conversation with Reverend Samuel Rodriguez,
founder and president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership
Conference. The nations largest Hispanic organization, representing
14 million Latino Evangelicals – and who believes that “The Latino vote”
will play a key role in electing our next president.

For a bit of inspiration, Booklink editor Katie Lee, talked with American
Idol alumni Mandisa - who shared from the pages of “IdolEyes” her first
ever memoir, her amazing story trusting God in the face of extraordinary
circumstances. And in a special Lingk interview we talked with Pastor
Joel Osteen about the changing face of Christian culture and his personal
transition in becoming Lakewood's pastor.

Last but not least, we caught-up with new mom and funny lady Kerri
Pomarolli one of the rising stars of clean comedy, who shared with us
her secret for balancing work, love and life. And for all of you struggling
with the aches and pains of middle age or just the idea of getting back in
shape, Chris Crowley co-author of Younger Next Year, told us the secret
to flattening the bodies aging curb (at least temporarily) - so be sure to
read on! All in all this issue should help you make some real key life
changes, designed to help you feel better, dream bigger and
embrace your new season of change.
